EP 01: Matt Wier

“There is something about shooting architecture that is a lot of fun.”

Matt Wier is a photographer with 15 years of experience specializing in interiors, architecture, and hospitality. He studied photography at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara and earned his BFA in 2011. Matt has a passion for a lifestyle centered around the outdoors. He grew up in the rural suburbs of Philadelphia, where he developed a love for photography inspired by the area’s natural beauty and history. After graduating, he spent several years as the first assistant to a hospitality photographer, providing him the fortunate opportunity to travel the world on shoots for luxury brands. This experience helped him develop an appreciation for the confluence of creativity and technical problem-solving inherent in photographing the built environment.
